About Me

Originally from Yorkshire I came down to London to do my nurse training and have stayed down south ever since! My nursing career has been very varied and I’ve loved every job I’ve had, including many years in the NHS.

I live in a gorgeous little cottage at the bottom of the Surrey Hills with my 6 dogs and 4 chickens! They are great company most of the time but can be naughty and we have great walks together.

I have been a huge Scotland Rugby fan for 40 years and have learned to take the wins when we get them because there have been many losses(!)

I love my garden which is a constant work in progress, reading, catching up with family and friends.

My inspiration

My husband Tony was a very special man who made me believe I could do anything with him by my side.

He was a police dog handler, so dogs were always be a big part of our lives. In almost 30 years we had a lot of love & laughter, so it's tough without him as my wingman!

It was our local vicar who lead Tony's funeral & from the moment we met her, we felt we were in safe hands.

Tony and I had discussed me training to be a celebrant some time ago and he thought it was a great idea, so I hope I am doing him proud.

What I offer

I would like to be your safe pair of hands to guide you through the special moments in your life, whether you  are a couple wanting a lovely tailor-made wedding ceremony full of love that reflects exactly who you are, a commitment ceremony or civil partnership.

Naming ceremonies & of course funerals and memorials, taking care of you & your loved one on their last journey.

Not forgetting a ceremony for your much beloved pet, another precious member of the family.

As you can see there is one word that comes up time and again and that is love which is the foundation for any ceremony I will create for you.

Please feel free to call me for a  chat and let me be your "safe pair of hands".
